Until I went on our gap year in 2017/18 I had not travelled to Europe very much. We had touched briefly on the UK and Greece previously, but that was all. Our rough plan for our gap year before we left included about 2.5 months in Europe. By the time we came home, we had spent 7.5 months exploring the continent. Europe is just so diverse and interesting, and there is so much packed into it and we were captivated. If I was pushed to pick a favourite country, right now I would probably say Germany, but Austria and Norway are right up there too. There is still so much to see, and I can’t wait to get back to this amazing continent and explore some more.
