I have to admit, I’m not sure I’d eat a Francesinha again, but it does sound like you had a bad one! Ours was not offensive, just not really my kind of food. I think everyone needs to try it at least once though!

This post reminds me of everything I adored about it. I’m glad they managed to convert you to liking port. It’s one of my fave drinks in winter.

Having said that, the only bad, (really bad) thing I ate in Porto was Francesinha! We went to one of the famous cafes, but it was terrible. I could taste that there was mold in the bread. My Portuguese friend told me that I need to go back and try it again, just not in any of the tourist places. 🙁
