Thanks LC. I had to google the murder in Aberdeen since I couldn’t remember it (how I had forgotten I don’t know, so gruesome!), and I see they are making a movie about that too!

I drove through quite a few recently on the way to Melbourne from Newcastle and really wished we could have stayed longer (damn that schedule that we have to adhere to). There’s nothing like exploring your own state. And I did see the Snowtown movie – had no idea it had little to do with the town itself! A gruesome murder took place in the town I went to high school in, Aberdeen in NSW. I’m sure it feels similar to Snowtown in that it is yet to cash in on its gruesome recent history.
