A major benefit of group travel is there is no waiting to buy tickets or enter venues. At the Roman Baths in Bath, UK there was a big queue out the front. We arrived via the side entrance and went straight in. Groups also have access to venues and events that individuals do not, like historical homes and some wineries. On a Trafalgar tour of France, the group was hosted by a family on their farm, with a traditional dinner and entertainment. It was wonderful. You also fit in a tremendous amount in a relatively short time.
