I can still remember the amazing pastries from one of the small shops. Such a magical little spot. Thanks Stacy. I’ve not heard of the East Bay Scenic Mail Run, I will have to look it up. You can probably tell from my photos it was very cold and cloudy in the morning during our visit, but luckily the clouds cleared so we had a beautiful afternoon.

Visited by cruise ship about 4 years ago and joined the East Bay Scenic Mail Run … it was an awesome day and so different from other tours! Thanks so much Jan! Yes, Covid-19 is a concern, but NZ is doing so well, so if any country is going to get right on top of it, it’s you guys! I’m hoping we can also get it under control here in Australia and our “bubble” can b set up so I can visit your beautiful country again soon.
